Rookies Expected To Play Significant Roles For Packers

Several rookies could play significant roles for the Green Bay Packers this season.  The best opportunity seems to be waiting for safety Darnell Savage Junior.  He’d have to beat out Josh Jones and Raven Greene to start.  Guard Elgton Jenkins and edge rusher Rashan Gary will get a lot of playing time as well.  None of the three may start, but they are going to be needed if the Packers are going to bounce back like many experts say they will.  Add running back Dexter Williams, linebacker Ty Summers and tight end Jace Sternberger to the players who could see a lot of time on the field.
