The Manitowoc Public Library has announced its Adventure Pass program. Kristen Stoeger, the Director of the Library, explained to Seehafer News what an Adventure Pass is, “The library is purchasing entrance into local area cultural institutions to provide access to our community.” Stoeger went on to say that they want to give people the opportunity to see these places, that may not be able to afford it otherwise, and to those people who may not know that these places exist.
These passes are now available and will provide access to the Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center, Manitowoc County Historical Society’s Pinecrest Historical Village, the Rahr West Art Museum, Rogers Street Fishing Village, and the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. Stoeger said that this program really sticks with their mission statement to “support access to information, and to support our community.”
The passes are available for check-out exclusively at Manitowoc Public Library with a valid MPL or MCLS library card. Passes are on a first come, first served basis, so get yours today. More details can be found at ManitowocLibrary.org/AdventurePass.
