The Manitowoc County Historical Society, 924 Pinecrest Road in Manitowoc, has announced an upcoming cheesemaking workshop as part of its Create-Connect learning series. The cheesemaking workshop will take place on Tuesday, June 11 from 1 to 3:30 pm. During this hands-on cheesemaking workshop, you will learn about the cheesemaking process and how to make mozzarella. You’ll have the chance to stretch mozzarella and sample various cheeses. The cost to attend is $25.00 for MCHS Member, $30 for non-member. Advanced registration is required. The class if for ages 12 and older.
Additional workshops in June include: Beginning Blacksmithing: “S” Hook (June 13); Beginning Blacksmithing: Dinner Triangle (June 22); Basics of Hand-Sewing (June 23); and Family Blacksmithing (June 27).
