Aurora Health Care is about to embark on a historic Construction project in Sheboygan County. The health care facility has procured the funds necessary for a $324 million hospital, which will be built west of Sheboygan along I-43 in the Village of Kohler. This project was initially announced back in 2017, and the Milwaukee based company has projected it will be completed sometime in late 2021. The building will be around 345,000 square feet, and will also house 115,000 square feet of office space in a separate building. Until the project is complete, the Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center will remain operational. Carrie Killoran, the executive vice president with Advocate Aurora Health, said that “Now is the time for a new facility to create greater access to care for our growing communities we serve.”
