Silo Accident in Southwest Wisconsin Kills 15-Year-Old Boy

Authorities in southwest Wisconsin are investigating an incident involving the disassembling of a silo that left a 15-year-old boy dead.  The Grant County Sheriff’s Office says a piece of concrete fell 50 to 60 feet and struck John Kanagy of Platteville in the head.  Kanagy died in the hospital Friday night.  Kanagy was helping family take down and demolish the old silo near U-S Highway 151 at the time.  No other injuries were reported.
