Several Local High School Tennis Players Advance to State

Manitowoc Lincoln will advance a singles and doubles flight to Nielsen Tennis Stadium and next week’s WIAA Individual State Meet in Madison.  The Ships qualifiers are freshman Logan Anderson at #1 Singles and the sophomore/junior duo of Aidan Newberg & Jack Rotter at #1 Doubles.  Jack & Aidan lost in the finals while Anderson placed 4^th.  Coach Bob Feller pointed out Lincoln’s other 3 qualifiers, the Schultz/Seehafer doubles team, Jacob Rivest & Sam Meyer all finished 3^rd yesterday at Western Racquet Club.  As a team, the Ships ended-up 3^rd behind Neenah & Appleton North.
