A 35-year-old Manitowoc man is facing a long list of charges after he was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a truck. Officers were called to the 1200 block of South 18th Street at around 6:30 PM yesterday afternoon after receiving a report of a male subject passed out in a truck. Officers and EMS personnel were able to revive the man, who admitted to using heroin a few hours beforehand. A search of the vehicle uncovered marijuana, methamphetamine, a pill known as Clonazepam, which is a schedule 4 drug, and drug paraphernalia. The man was taken to Holy Family Memorial Medical Center to recover, before being transported to the Manitowoc County Jail. He is now facing charges of possession of all the previously mentioned drugs, as well as a drug repeater charge, a 5th offense OWI, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
