House Fire in Fond du Lac Lands One in Hospital

One person had to be transported to a local hospital due to a house fire in Fond du Lac over the weekend. Crews were sent to 29 Woods Place just before 1:15 PM on Sunday, on a report of smoke billowing from a home in the area. Firefighters reported that heavy smoke was experienced on the first floor of the structure, but were able to quickly find and eliminate the blaze. The home did experience what is being described as “substantial damage”, and one occupant was transported to SSM Health Hospital with undisclosed injuries. No other individuals or firefighters were injured, and the investigation remains ongoing.
