Several people were injured as the result of a four-vehicle crash this morning in Sheboygan County. Sheriff Randy Haag says at approximately 9 a.m. the County Emergency Dispatch Center received several 911 calls reporting the crash in the southbound lanes of I-43 at State Highway 23 in the Town of Sheboygan. The driver of the offending vehicle was transported to a local hospital while several passengers of another unit complained of minor neck and head pain. Names of those involved along with the extent of injuries and physical conditions were not released. A preliminary investigation indicates that drugs appear to have been a factor in the accident. Assisting Sheriff’s personnel on the scene were the State Patrol-Kohler Police-Town of Sheboygan Fire Department and Orange Cross Ambulance.
