A Manitowoc man was at the Shell Gas Station in the 1700 block of South 41st Street early this morning, when he decided to roll a marijuana blunt in front of the clerk. Three officers with the Manitowoc Police Department were called to the gas station at around 2:30 AM as the clerk explained that the 30-year-old man had displayed a handgun in the waistband of his pants. When officers arrived, they asked the man to show his hands, which he did. They patted down the suspect and discovered that the weapon in question was an airsoft pistol, which fires small plastic BBs. The clerk told police that the man seemed to be under the influence of drugs as he displayed, but never threatened to use the handgun, and rolled a blunt on the counter. The man was arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Heroin, Methamphetamine, and THC, as well as two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
