Two more bands have been added to the Metro Jam 2019 lineup. Hailing from Milwaukee, The Tritonics will headline the show on Friday June 14th. The Tritonics perform original music written in the Jamaican roots styles of Rock Steady, Ska and Reggae. They also cover crucial standards of those genres by artists like Alton Ellis, Delroy Wilson, and Toots and the Maytalls. Then the following night, music lovers will be able to hear Red Wanting Blue out of Columbus Ohio. Red Wanting Blue has spent the last twenty years establishing themselves as one of the indie world’s most enduring and self-sufficient acts, notching appearances everywhere from Letterman to NPR and reaching #3 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, all while operating largely outside the confines of the traditional music industry.
