The Green Bay Police Department responded to a child abduction call over the weekend, only for the incident to have been listed as a domestic situation. Police arrived to the area of Hinkle Street and West Mason Frontage Road at around 4:00 PM on Saturday after receiving the report of a stolen child. The grandfather of the child reported the abduction, by saying his 18-month-old granddaughter was taken by her biological father. The father and the child were both found a short while later, and determined that the child was not in any danger. The situation was also determined to have been a domestic situation and is being handled as a civil custody issue between parents.
