Brewers Beleaguered Pitching Staff Combines On 5-Hit Shutout 6-0

Three Brewers pitchers combined on a five-hit shutout of the Washington Nationals in Tuesday’s 6-0 victory.  Freddy Peralta tossed five scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.  Milwaukee has won five games in a row after scoring all six of its runs in the seventh inning, breaking a scoreless tie.  Lorenzo Cain’s bases-clearing double was the big blow.  The Brewers go for the series sweep behind Brandon Woodruff this (Wednesday) afternoon at 12:10 P-M.
