The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office wants to add a second K9 unit to their team and is looking for your help. Yesterday morning, they posted a link on Facebook to a GoFundMe page, where the public can donate to help them reach their goal. On the page the Sheriff’s Office says that their K9 Mika has had such a positive impact, “…the Sheriff has now given the go-ahead to add a second K9 to our team. The intent is to acquire a second dual purpose K9 that can detect illegal drugs and track individuals.” They went on to explain, “We currently have enough funding to purchase a second K9 and send a handler to training. Since this venture has happened so quickly, what we don’t have is the funding for a second K9 patrol vehicle.” All funds raised will go toward that new patrol vehicle. Click here to donate.
