The longstanding staple of Manitowoc, Hartman’s Bakery will be closing their doors at the end of June. A sign was posted on their door announcing the news. The handwritten sign also says “We thank you for your past patronage. We will take orders up until June 20th.” Steve and Joni Hartman announced that they were putting the business up for sale back in June of last year, as they were ready to retire. We are attempting to reach out to the Hartman’s for comment.
