Roncalli and Manitowoc Lincoln Boys Tennis teams had a busy day on Saturday. The Ships competed in the Beaver Dam Invite where Wauwautosa East edged West Depere for the team title 27-26. Lincoln tied Beaver Dam for 4th with 16-points in the 8 school field. Going 2-1 on the day for Coach Bob Feller’s squad was Sam Meyer at #4 singles along with all three doubles tandems of Aidan Newberg/Jack Rotter Chandler Holschbach/Tyler Lambert and, Laken Schultz & Mateo Seehafer.
Roncalli, meanwhile, hosted a Quadrangular Meet at Lincoln Park. The host Jets defeated St. Lawrence Seminary 6-1 and St. Mary Springs Academy 5-2 before falling to Milwaukee Pius 5-2. Winning all three of their matches for Coach Amanda Kudick’s club were Nick Welnetz at #2 singles and the 1 doubles team of Alec Schermetzler & Steffen Lipski.
