
Longtime Mishicot High School Coach and administrator, Clinton Peters, has died at the age of 87. Peters, a native of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully Tuesday at his home following an 11 year battle with Alzheimer’s. An obituary from Konrad-Behlman Funeral Homes in Oshkosh said “Clint’s passion in life was family and football.” He was the guidance counselor and athletic director at Mishicot High School for 32-years, during which he also was a very successful football and basketball coach for the Indians. Clint Peters was a member of the St. Norbert College Alumni Association and was in the ‘first enshrinement class’ of the Lakeshore All-Sports Hall of Fame in 1977. He was also inducted into the WIAA High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame as well as the St. Norbert Intercollegiate Athletic ‘Hall’. Funeral services will be held in Oshkosh on Monday.
