Formal charges are expected this week in the beating death of two-year-old Gilbert A. Grant the Second in Two Rivers. Authorities have released details of the beatings the child had to endure over an eight-month period before he finally died. His mother Rena Santiago and her two roommates David Heiden and Bianca admitted to pushing the boy so he would fall over and shaking him so he would go to sleep and hitting the boy with a belt, a shoe and their hands. All three had bail hearings yesterday in Manitowoc County Circuit Court, where bond was set at $100,000 apiece. The trio will be making their initial appearance May 6th at 1:30 PM.
