President Donald Trump pointed out the strong economy and criticized the Democrats who are running for his job while at the Resch Center on Saturday. A crowd of about 10,000 joined the president at a Make America Great Again rally in the Green Bay area, a rally which he had skipped the annual White House Correspondents’ Association dinner to attend. Trump was accompanied by U-S Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin. He had opened the rally on a somber note by offering his condolences to the victims of a synagogue shooting which left one person dead and four wounded.
A representative from Brown County has informed us that the masses that gathered for the President Trump campaign Rally were generally well behaved. Kevin Pawlik told us that they did have two incidents of note, with one man getting taken into police custody for battery and theft two hours before the president arrived. That incident occurred inside the Resch Center, while a separate man was cited outside around three hours prior to the President’s speech. He was taken in for underage drinking and possession of a Fake ID. Pawlik said that the law enforcement personnel were not surprised by the good behavior of the crowd, but still wanted to thank everyone for being on their best behavior.
