Manitowoc Lutheran’s girls were the third place team at a Big East Conference Track and Field meet in Random Lake yesterday. It was a closely contested meet, with the Hilbert winning with a score of 57.94, Ozaukee snagging second with 57.49 points, and Lutheran earning 57 points. The Boys squad did not fare as well, coming in 6th. However, MonRaye Ermis set a new school record in the shot put, by hurling the stone 34 feet, 3.25 inches, breaking the previous record by an inch and a half.
Meanwhile, Manitowoc Lincoln competed in a quad meet of their own, with the girls coming in second, and the boys ting for the third place spot. Emily Dowidowich continues to dominate the 100m run, earning a first place finish in 12.81 seconds. Other first place finishes came from Lauren Bouchard, who finished the 300 hurdles in 54.53 seconds, Philip Curran in the 100 hurdles, and Korshaun Walcott in the 100 m run.
