A pair of teens from Manitowoc have found themselves in trouble with the law, after marijuana was found in their car during a traffic stop. Officers pulled over a vehicle containing 19 year old Hunter D. Vanroekel and 18 year old Adolfo L. Bautista, on Friday just after 9:00 PM. Officers smelled the distinct odor of marijuana. Bautista admitted to having the drug in his glove box, but Vanroekel claimed the only thing he had was a smoking device that had a cartridge containing THC. A search of the vehicle also uncovered some THC laced gummy candies, better known as edibles, which Bautista said he was trying to sell. Bautista is facing a felony charge of possession of THC with intent to deliver, while Vanroekel is looking at a felony charge of possession of THC.
