Manitowoc Lincoln boys and girls track & field teams competed last night in a triangular meet at Green Bay Preble. The host Hornets swept both ends of the competition scoring 112.5 points in the boys division and 77 in the girls bracket. Pulaski was the runner-up finisher in the meet. The Ships tallied 23 points on the boys side, with Tanner Wigand taking 1st in the discus along with Lincoln’s 4-by-100 meter relay comprised of Marcus Miglieri, Jett Hecker, Brett Prange and Malcome Young in a time of 45.94.
Lincoln scored 48 points in the girls division where Emily Dawidowichwas a double winner in the 100 and the 200. Her 100 time of 12.37 seconds set a new school record. Breanna Reinhart was a winner in the 800, Maddie Buchner captured the High Jump, and Jenna Miller takes the Long Jump.
Ships track & field squads travel to the West Bend Invite on Thursday.
