Shoreline Hometown Credit Union was recently honored at the Salvation Army Volunteer Appreciation Awards Luncheon at the Hamilton Community House in Two Rivers on April 11.
Shoreline was honored as the Business Partner of the Year for its efforts to help raise money during the Christmas season. The credit union sold Season Pass Pins at their locations and matched funds for a total of nearly $13,000 that went to the Salvation Army.
“We’re honored to receive this award,” said Nathan Grossenbach, CEO of Shoreline. “We have been selling these Season Pass pins for the past five years. Our employees have put a lot of effort into selling and promoting these pins for the Salvation Army. We’re looking forward to helping out again this year.”
Shoreline Business Development Officer Kyle Bryntesen was also on hand to receive the award with Nathan. As a member of the Noon Rotary, Kyle also received Rotary awards along with Bill Springer for the most hours bell ringing and the most money raised by a community organization.
