
After an injury-riddled college career, Mississippi State defensive lineman Jeffrey Simmons is hoping N-F-L teams look closer at his potential. He is in Green Bay this week making a pre-draft visit with the Packers. In three seasons with the Bulldogs, he produced seven sacks, five forced fumbles and three blocked passes. He trying to come back from a knee injury and overcome the stigma of his fight with a woman three years ago. The Packers are just as interested in his character as they are in the health of his knee before they decide whether to use a draft pick on him.
