Another Priest in Catholic Diocese of Green Bay Accused of Sexual Abuse

The Catholic Diocese of Green Bay has revealed that yet another priest that is being accused of sexually abusing a minor. The diocese is claiming that the clergyman abused a minor back in 1964.  The name has not been released, but it is known that the priest died in 2000. This brings the total number of accused priests up to 47, which abused children over the past 112 years, in 157 parishes. Over 2/3 of the accused have passed away, leaving 15 to potentially face repercussions for their actions. Diocese leaders say they’re committed to being more transparent about addressing abuse and have also set up programs to assist victims of priest abuse.
