Beaten and stabbed, a 60-year-old Milwaukee parking enforcement officer was able to escape and drive to a police station for help Tuesday morning. Milwaukee police say they have arrested two suspects for the attack on the city’s northwest side. The officer was issuing a citation for a vehicle which was blocking a sidewalk when he was confronted. His boss at the Department of Public Works says the man is recovering after surgery. The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
