Manitowoc police say they have a suspect in custody for the armed robbery of a business in the 1500-block of Johnston Drive yesterday afternoon. Detective Sgt. Mike Stone said the male white suspect walked into the business, which was not identified by police, about 2pm and was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Stone says the man reportedly did not display a weapon, but one was mentioned. The suspect fled the area in a black or navy blue minivan with rust around the rear passenger side wheel-well. Police distributed a video late yesterday afternoon asking for assistance in identifying the robbery suspect. Then, late last night Stone said the male has been identified and arrested. Authorities are expected to release more information about the incident later today.
