There’s a street closure in the east downtown Manitowoc area starting today to allow for a large project at Lakeside Foods. Greg Minikel of the Manitowoc City Engineering office said South 6th Street, Between Quay & Franklin Streets, is closed to through traffic, to allow for that project. Minikel indicated that motorists won’t be able to use South 6th from Quay to Franklin until the end of this month, however key intersections will remain open to traffic at all times.
