8th Grade Boys Basketball Tournament Comes To Manitowoc

The Manitowoc Junior Ships organization is hosting the statewide 8th-grade boys basketballs Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament this weekend.  Local hotels and restaurants should be extra busy with 28 teams coming in from around Wisconsin.  Local & area 8^th grade squads will be represented including a Junior Ships team.  Games will be taking place tomorrow & Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm at the JFK Fieldhouse, as well as Washington & Wilson, and Jefferson School.  There is an admission fee both days and, concessions will be sold. The Wisconsin State Invitational Championship Tournament (“WSICT”) is an annual event for 5th through 8th-grade teams, played between late February and mid-April.
