There will be another Drug Disposal day in Manitowoc County in mid-April. Those who have unused prescription medications are encouraged to bring them to the Manitowoc Senior Center on April 17th, between 10:00 AM and noon. All prescription meds, over the counter drugs, veterinary meds, controlled substances and supplements will be accepted. Pills should be placed in a zip-lock style bag that does not exceed quart size. It is ok to mix pills, but cremes powders and medical inhalers should stay in their original containers. Needles lancets, mercury devices chemical waste, electronic glucose monitors, non-medical inhalers, personal care products, and pill bottles will not be accepted.
