Fatal Crash in Sheboygan

One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Sheboygan late this morning. Police say they responded to a call in the 500 block of Taylor Drive near Erie Avenue at 11 a.m. where a vehicle driving southbound struck a pedestrian who was walking in the southbound traffic lanes. Police Officers and Firefighter paramedics performed life-saving measures on the scene. The victim was transported to St. Nicholas Hospital but did not survive. The identities of those involved are being withheld pending notification of family. The Sheboygan Police Department’s Reconstruction Team is leading the investigation and witnesses are asked to call (920) 459-3333.
