The annual Miss Harbor Cities & Outstanding Teen Program was held at the
University Theatre of UWGB, Manitowoc Campus on Saturday, March 16th. Contestants from across
the state competed for prizes and scholarship, along with the opportunity to advance to the Miss
Wisconsin and Miss Wisconsin’s Outstanding Teen Competitions this June in Oshkosh.
Sarah Niehueser was crowned Miss Harbor Cities 2019 and Zoe Rucinsky was crowned Miss
Harbor Cities’ Outstanding Teen 2019. Niehueser played the piano for her talent and Rucinsky sang
and tap-danced.
Other awards were announced and include: Miss Harbor Cities’ Outstanding Teen People’s
Choice Award $350 Scholarship, Zoe Rucinsky; Miss Harbor Cities’ Outstanding Teen Spirit of Miss
America Award, Brooklyn Hyne; Overall Teen Interview Award $50 scholarship, Zoe Rucinsky; Miss
Harbor Cities People’s Choice Award $200 scholarship, Sarah Niehueser; Miss Harbor Cities Spirit
of Miss America Award, Jennifer Schmidt; Ruby West Jackson Overall Interview Award $100
scholarship, Sarah Niehueser; Ken Morrall Style Award for Overall Lifestyle & Fitness in Swimsuit
$50 scholarship, Sarah Niehueser. Frist runner up to Miss Harbor Cities’ Outstanding Teen is
Lauren Bean. Runners up to Miss Harbor Cities 2019 are: 3rd runner up, Kristie Dantuma; 2nd
runner up, Rachelle Wuest; 1st runner up, Jennifer Schmidt.
