Despite colder temperatures and minimal precipitation the last several days the “flood threat” remains high in Manitowoc and Manitowoc County. Emergency Services Director Travis Waack.
Although conditions are improving Waack says—
The current stage level on the Manitowoc River is 11-point-nine feet nearly two feet above the normal of 10 feet. A Flood Warning remains in effect for the Manitowoc River until further notice.
