Nearly 600 health care providers, partners, and other stakeholders are in Green Bay today for the start of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) two-day forum on the state’s opioid crisis. The event highlights the progress made in saving lives, as well as new strategies to bring hope and healing to individuals, families, and communities. The event begins (began) this morning at 8:30 AM, and will run until 4:15 PM, and will go from 8:00 AM to 3:15 PM tomorrow at the KI Convention Center on Main Street. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers, Attorney General Josh Kaul, DHS Secretary-Designee Andrea Palm, and DHS Director of Opioid Initiatives Paul Krupski will be among the speakers at the event.
