Arrest Of Wanted Man In Richland County Turns Up Illegal Drugs

When Richland Center police arrested a man after he left a Walmart store last weekend, they discovered drugs and some needles.  An off-duty deputy had spotted 27-year-old Kiefer J. Beran inside the store and knew he had an active arrest warrant in his name.  He made a call and Richland County deputies joined police officers in making a traffic stop.  Beran and the car’s 27-year-old driver, Logan J. Lenz, were both taken into custody.
