Wisconsin Lottery Supports Problem Gambling Awareness Month

March is Problem Gambling Awareness Month, and one of the biggest supporters of it is actually the Wisconsin Lottery. They have adjusted their advertising during the month to highlight the problem that excessive gambling can cause and inform people who may be gambling too much, how they can get help. Wisconsin Lottery Director Cindy Polzin said “It is very important for the Lottery to support gambling awareness…We are proud to align with their (the Wisconsin Council on Problem Gambling) efforts, particularly during the Problem Gambling Month campaign.” The two entities have been in collaboration for the past decade, and continue to attempt to eliminate the number of people gambling excessively.
