Sheboygan Shed Fire Threatens Several Pet Cats

Several pet cats nearly perished in a shed fire in Sheboygan Falls last night. The Sheboygan County Communications Center was informed of the fire at N5968 State Highway 32 at around 10:30 PM. Crews were sent to the location and found a shed completely engulfed in flames. Fencing surrounded the structure, and several felines were trapped within. Fire Crews were able to rescue all of the cats and extinguish the blaze. The investigation remains ongoing, but the preliminary investigation points toward a space heater being the cause. Several entities were on the scene, including the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office, the Town of Sheboygan Falls, and Johnsonville Fire Departments and the Town of Sheboygan Falls First Responders.
