The Miracle League of the Lakeshore is holding its’ annual Spring Training Celebration this weekend in Mishicot. Commissioner Laura Ziemer talked with Seehafer News about the event.
Laura says the baseball spring training themed event is a lot of fun getting together and raising money that is put back into “The Goodwill N-C-W Field of Dreams at Miracles Park.” This will be the 6th year that the city of Manitowoc is hosting the baseball organization for youth with physical & intellectual disabilities and the 2nd year they’re offering an over 19 league on the rubberized field, eliminating all obstacles. Ziemer says a popular, local t-v personality will serve as host.
Admission to the Spring Training Celebration at Fox Hills Saturday night is $10 for adults and $5 for kids. Miracle League players are free.
