A Manitowoc man was taken into police custody barely a day after being picked up for a domestic incident. 40-year-old Dang Vang was arrested at around 11:20 PM Sunday evening after his wife reported him throwing things at her while allegedly high on Methamphetamine. Vang was on a 72-hour no-contact order with his wife but went to their house anyway while she was at work. When she returned home, she was surprised to see Vang, who told her she had to leave because he was there first. Officers told the woman that because she was the victim, she retained the right to their home over Vang. Officers noted that Vang had the smell of alcohol on his breath, and he was taken into police custody. Dang is now facing additional charges of Violating a 72-hour Domestic Abuse Order, and three counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
