The individual that was killed in the 131 car pileup on I-41 on Sunday has been identified as Andrew Schefelker of Oshkosh. The 30 year old middle and high school science teacher was the only person to die as a result of the accident, which shut down a portion of I-41 near Neenah for around 13 hours. The Iola-Scandinavia School District in Waupaca County where Schefelker taught stated that the first year science teacher was very involved in the Boy Scouts. Counselors are being made available for students in the school district. The incident also left 71 people injured, five of which had to remain in the hospital overnight.
