Manitowoc Man Nabbed on Drug Charges

A 28-year-old Manitowoc man was arrested over the weekend on drug charges. An Officer spotted a car performing an improper left turn Saturday evening and initiated a traffic stop on Calumet Avenue between Dewey Street and Grand Avenue. The officer noticed the man acting nervous, and learned that he did not have a valid driver’s license. A faint smell of marijuana was detected as well and was confirmed by K9 Neko. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered marijuana, methamphetamine, and ecstasy, and he was taken into police custody. The 28-year-old is facing charges of Possession of Meth, Ecstasy, and THC with Intent to Deliver, as well as one count of Felony Bail Jumping.
