One person died as the result of a single vehicle crash in Sheboygan County overnight. Authorities said they were notified of the accident at 12:30 this morning on Foster Road, east of I-43 in the town of Holland. Sheboygan County officers arrived on scene and found the driver & sole occupant deceased inside the vehicle. An investigation determined the motorist had been eastbound on Foster Road and left the roadway before striking a power pole. The vehicle then entered the north ditch, where it overturned onto its’ roof and struck a tree. The victim’s identity is not expected to be released until after 9am tomorrow. Agencies assisting the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s office included Oostburg Fire Department with the Jaws of Life, Oostburg Ambulance, Orange Cross Ambulance Service and Sheboygan County Medical Examiner’s Office.
