Manitowoc Couple Appear For Bail Hearings on Child Neglect Charges

A Manitowoc couple facing charges in a child neglect case appeared for bail hearings this afternoon. 44-year-old Jason Juul of Manitowoc is free on $2000 cash bail and charged with Child Neglect—of a child under the age of six while 34-year-old Robyn R. Timreck remains in the County Jail on $15 thousand cash bond and charged with Child Neglect—of a child under the age of six and one count of physical abuse of a child. Police and the Department of Health Services were informed by family members of injuries a child suffered that appeared to be from a shoe. Timreck admitted to burning one of the children with a cigarette while both defendants acknowledge an injury a child received when struck by another child with a toy and to doing heroin with the children present. Conditions of bail for both individuals include having no contact with the victims unless approved by Human Services—have no contact with any drug dealers or users and maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol. Initial appearances are scheduled for March 4^th at 1:30.
