Single Vehicle Fatal Accident In Sheboygan County

One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash late this morning in Sheboygan County. Sheriff’s Captain Corey Norlander says that just after 11:30 the Emergency Dispatch Center received a report of an accident on State Highway 67 north of County Road J in the Town of Plymouth. An initial investigation Revealed the vehicle was headed southbound on Highway 67 approaching County Road J when the operator lost control and entered a ditch, overturning on its roof before eventually coming to a rest. Upon arrival, officers found the driver, the sole occupant in the vehicle, deceased inside. Police say they will release the name of the victim after 7 pm this evening.  Emergency Personnel assisting on scene included the Plymouth Fire Department, Orange Cross Ambulance Service, and the Sheboygan County Medical Examiner’s Office.
