Valders Girls Basketball Team Moves Closer to League Crown

The Valders girls basketball team outscored host Roncalli 35-19 in the second half en route to a 68-41 win at the Hangar last night.  With the victory, the Vikings maintain their 1-game lead on Kiel in the E-W-C standings.  Valders (16-and-4, and 12-and-1) featured 3 players in double-figure scoring, led by Jenna Evenson’s 16-points, Kendra Hammel & Lindsay Glaeser chipped in 13-and-12 points, respectively.  Maya Lusk scored 15-for the Jets, who fell to 5-and-16, 3-and-10 in the league.  Valders converted on all 15 of its’ free throw attempts.
