Driver Who Crashed Into School Bus Charged With Causing His Brother’s Death

Witnesses say a 17-year-old driver ran from the scene after crashing his vehicle into a school bus, then returned to try to help his brother.  No one was hurt on the school bus, but Laron Ball’s 16-year-old brother died.  Ball is charged with negligent homicide and illegal possession of a firearm.  Police say he was hiding a gun behind a nearby house when he left the accident scene.  He was apparently carrying that gun to settle an argument with another person when the accident happened.
