The Silver Lake College women’s basketball team competed in a tournament with NAIA schools in Gary, Indiana over the weekend. The Lakers dropped a 57-54 decision to Washington Adventist on Friday afternoon despite a double-double from Hailee Kotche, who scored 18 points, had 13 rebounds and added 5 assists & 4 steals. Teammates Tasha Rabe & Paige Boden each added 11 points. Then Saturday Indiana University-Northwest defeated Silver Lake 62-39. Kotche contributed another double-double with 13 rebounds & 12 points Paige Boden had 15 points and 7 boards.
