In the Eastern Wisconsin Conference, the most recent weather cancellation has created a pair of Boy/Girl basketball doubleheaders tonight. At Roncalli High School, the Jets’ boys team seeks its’ 18th win of the season when it faces Chilton in a scheduled 5:30 start on Kersten Court. The Jets & Tigers Girls game will follow at 7:15. Both contests will be broadcast on am 980 WCUB. Brillion & Two Rivers also play a twinbill in the Raiders’ gymnasium with the Boys game first at 5:50.
In E-W-C Girls basketball, league-leading Valders has New Holstein at home, while Sheboygan Falls visits Kiel in a battle of two teams tied for 2nd in the conference standings.
Tonight also marks the first round of play in the Boys portion of the Big East Conference Tournament. Manitowoc Lutheran has the #7 seed and the Lancers travel to Oostburg…Howards Grove is the 1 seed and the Tigers host Ozaukee. Sheboygan Lutheran dropped to the 3 seed & the Crusaders play host to #6 Reedsville, And ‘5’-seed Hilbert travels to #4-Kohler. One of the Consolation bracket games has Mishicot traveling to Sheboygan Christian.
And, in the North Eastern Conference the Denmark girls have a game at Luxemburg-Casco.
