Ships Capture First Win of FRCC Boys Basketball Season

Manitowoc Lincoln overcame a 1-point halftime deficit last night to beat Sheboygan South, 63-48 at the JFK Fieldhouse.  The Ships trailed the visiting Redwings 25-24 at intermission. Sophomore Mason Dopirak led Lincoln with 17-points….including ‘5’ three’s.  Josh Hoffman added 16 and was 8-of-10 from the foul line.  Sam Jacobson made it 3-Ships in double digits with 11.  Josh Govek led South with 18 points.  Lincoln, now 1-&-12 in the FRCC, and 3-and-14 overall travels to Green Bay Southwest this Friday night.  With the loss, the Redwings of Manitowoc native Jesse Shaw, drop to 3-&-9, and 4-and-11.
