The Silver Lake College Women’s Basketball team was defeated on the road last night falling to Maranatha Baptist Bible College 62-40 in Watertown. Meanwhile, Lakers’ senior Captain Hailee Kotche recently etched her name in the Silver Lake history books. Kotche, who graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School, scored 23-points in a game against Bay College to eclipse the 1000 point milestone. Hailee, the daughter of Mike & Sandra Kotche, said her previous teammates & family were at the game so, she felt a lot of pressure and may have forced some shots. But added, “it’s great to get to a thousand on my home floor and on my dad’s birthday.”
